FOTY 09 - Those That Came Close (And One That Didn't)

After much deliberation I have finally selected FOTY 09. Yeah, I know this took forever to post, whatever. There has never been a tighter battle for FOTY as there was in 2009 and 2010 is already looking to be the most competitive yet. Please remember while reading this that FOTY is determined solely by me and it's original intent was to make fun of Nick and to persuade people to buy me stuff.

So let's start with the runners-up.

Kasey - Not only did he keep me from demolishing my radiator whilst installing my motor mounts this spring, he also went out and bought the coolest color car I have ever seen IRL. 

Brad - He owns a BMW and lets me drive it. There is other stuff too but not much else compares to that. 

Ryan - I really adore his apathetic personality, but he didn't give me a kidney.

Ben - Has a 90% response rate to my asinine text messages. 

Tony - I am afraid he would burn my house down if he wasn't on the list, which should make him FOTY. Too bad I think he would ensure i was in the house and nail the doors shut first. BTW - That link isn't to the real Tony, but it's way funnier his Facebook page. 

And for the first time ever, we have a new person in dead-freaking-last-place…

J-Rad - Yes. The back-to-back winner is in last place this year. I am not sure if it was because he failed to text me for nine months, or if I am jealous that he way over achieved and married a hot chick. Either way I am sure Nick will have a field day with this decision.
